What I Wore To Church - Pink Florals

Skirt: ModCloth Adept Apprentice Skirt
Shoes: ThredUp (Qupid, same shoe as ModCloth Dynamic Debut Heel)

This outfit was driven by a couple of different things. Namely, a desire to wear some new purchases, as well as the Style Me November Style prompt for today (Instagram Crush).

I picked up the bubblegum cardigan during one of ModCloth's daily sales leading up to black Friday last week. I guess I wasn't the only one since they are now sold out completely. I loved the color and wanted to wear it as soon as possible. I used to HATE the color pink, but clearly I've gotten over that.

I picked up the skirt from a clothing swap group and had also been dying to wear it. (I plan on doing a post on swap groups soon! It's so addicting!) It is such a gorgeous skirt. Plaid, florals, and POCKETS all in one! Need I say more?

The shoes, were an amazing ThredUp find. I have the Dynamic Debut heel in Navy and love it to pieces so I did a happy dance when I spotted this pair on ThredUp.

Now, onto my Instagram Crush. I've been following @BristolElisabeth for a couple months now, and I just adore her style. It's always so bright and colorful, and so stinkin cute. So today, I thought I'd channel her with this look. I don't have any cute, fruity Luxulite accessories or colorful Bait flats, but I thought the outfit itself paid pretty good homage.

Since I'm pretty much decked out in ModCloth today, I guess I should give them a shout out. They are doing 25% off EVERYTHING with code CYBERMONDAY. If there's anything you've been eyeing, now would be a good time to buy!

What I Wore To Church - Autumnal Plaid Dress

Dress: ModCloth About the Artist Dress in Autumnal Plaid
Scarf: WalMart
Tights: ModCloth Layer It On Tights in Light Grey
Shoes: ModCloth Dynamic Debut Heel in Navy
Belt: Target (Merona)

It was a bit blustery out there today so I decided layers would be a good idea. I always have fun styling with layers because you have to get creative with what coordinates and what doesn't. I opted to ditch my signature cardigan and replace it with a long sleeve tee. The cardigan would've looked fine (I probably would've done navy if you're wondering), but I like to switch it up every now and then.

I had been drooling over this ModCloth dress for weeks, and they were teasing me with a "coming soon" label under it. It FINALLY came in stock and lucky for me, I had a $15 credit and a 20% off code. The stars aligned and the dress was mine. I absolutely adore plaid and this color scheme was just too perfect.

I tried a couple different things, but settled on the scarf and belt with confirmation from my mom that it wasn't too much mustard. Since I have an obsession with mustard, I tend to go a bit overboard with it, and I need to be reeled in occasionally. This time I think it was just the right amount.

The tights were an add on to a previous ModCloth order so I could get free shipping (I hate paying shipping!), and I knew it wouldn't take me too long to find something to wear them with. Colored tights (yes grey is a color) are one of my favorite accessories. They add fun detail to an outfit and keep you warm at the same time!

The shoes are another ModCloth fave. I'm still debating if I need them in burgundy too. The thick heel makes them easy to walk in despite their 4 inch height, and the cut out details paired with the t-strap is just too much cute in one shoe!

Overall I thought it made a great fall outfit and I'm glad the weather is finally cooperating so I can work with layers. I didn't mean to be a walking advertisement for ModCloth, but sometimes it turns out that way.

If you haven't purchased from ModCloth before, use my link and get $15 off $50! (No this is not a sponsored post, but I do get $15 referral credit if you sign up. It's appreciated so I can continue my addiction!)

What I Wore To Church - Mustard Breathtaking Tiger Lilies Skirt

Skirt: ModCloth Breathtaking Tiger Lilies Skirt in Mustard
Top: LOFT Peter Pan Collar Top (no longer available)
Cardigan: ModCloth Charter School Cardigan in Navy
Shoes: Dynamic Debut Heel in Navy

I think this is one of my favorite outfits ever. Not necessarily because I love the outfit as a whole (although I do), but because I'm kinda obsessed with all the pieces.

I have this skirt in Stem Green but have been stalking the mustard since I knew it existed (I swear it's been sold out FOREVER). I've been on the hunt for a good mustard skirt for fall; since I knew how much I loved the Breathtaking Tiger Lilies Skirt (good length, material, shape, fit, and POCKETS!), it just made sense to get it in mustard. I may have also bought it in orange. Whoops! Mustard is just such a great fall statement color, and it looks great on red heads (and anyone for that matter).

You should already be aware of my love for Charter School cardigans so I'll move on to the shoes. T-straps are definitely in right now (and through the fall) and these are so adorable! The cut-outs are such a great detail, and the thick heel makes them easy to walk in despite the 4" height. I had to stalk them as well since ModCloth was sold out for quite some time.  I even tried to find them from other retailers since I knew they were Qupid brand, but seriously, no one had them. Now that I know for sure how well they fit, I desperately want them in burgundy. I think that's going to have to be my next ModCloth purchase.

I bought the shirt from LOFT a couple months ago but have not been able to find the right outfit to wear it with. Once I got the skirt, it all came together. It was my first peter pan collar shirt, and I love the retro vibe it brings. Plus polka dots. Need I say more?

If you've never shopped with ModCloth before, clearly it's worth a look. If you use my referral link, you get $15 off $50 or more (and I get $15 too). I'd like to give a shout out to their waitlist option which is awesome. If you download their app, you'll get the notification when things come back in stock (or go on sale) right to your phone. If it weren't for that, I wouldn't have been able to snag the skirt or the shoes! It's a life saver.

What I Wore To Church - Chambray and Earth Tones

Dress: eShakti Sash Waist Chambray Dress
Cardigan: ModCloth Charter School Cardigan in Rust
Shoes: Kelsi Dagger Tildia

Happy Sunday! I've been saving this dress for awhile. This is actually the dress that I got for free from eShakti months ago after winning one of their contests on facebook. I haven't worn it because I customized it specifically to my measurements, and this is the only dress I modified for maternity wear. I gave myself a lot of extra room in the waist. Until now, it was too much room, but I'm finally big enough to fill it out (I bet you never thought I'd be happy about being "big" enough for a dress). I also customized it to add sleeves, but the more I think about, the more I think I missed an opportunity with that one. I think in the sleeveless option, this would look super cute as a jumper with a collared shirt underneath it. I may end up taking the sleeves off eventually so I can do it. I like the way it looks with a cardigan, but I'm not a big fan of how it looks with sleeves. Oh, well. I can't complain about a free dress. Either way, I ALWAYS appreciate how customizable eShakti's dresses are. So many options for styling.

With all the great options from eShakti, you may wonder why I picked this as my winning dress. I love how many possibilities exist with chambray as a neutral. It's such a blank slate of a dress and can be styled into so many different looks! I'm going to have fun coming up with different combinations for this dress.

The cardigan is another one of ModCloth's Charter School Cardigans (do I sound like a broken record yet?). I did have a bit of trouble with this one because it fits smaller and shorter than every other color I own, but their customer service was AMAZING and worked me through an unexpectedly complicated exchange process. I cannot sing the praises of ModCloth's customer service enough. They really do go the extra mile to make sure their customers are happy.

The shoes were from a 6pm sale awhile ago, but this is the first time I've been happy pairing them with an outfit. I am such a sucker for the t-strap as well as the rich brown color.

I know there's been a lot of snow around the states these past couple of weeks, but the weather here today has been beautiful. I hope things are warming up where you are so you can be a little more flexible with your fashion choices (no one likes to wear heavy coats and snow boots every day)! Happy Shopping!

What I Wore To Church - Floral Yoke Dress

Dress: eShakti Floral Yoke Poplin Dress
Cardigan: ModCloth Charter School Cardigan in Sage
Shoes: Iron Fist Filthy Landlubber T-Bar

I'm definitely enjoying the fact that I can make my eShakti dresses work for me during pregnancy. I fell in love with this dress on the website because of the faux sweetheart neckline as well as the beautiful embroidery on the yoke. It felt very "hippy" while at the same time slightly nautical (which you know I love). It has elastic on the back, so even though the waistline was slightly lower than you would expect for a maternity dress, it still was easy to zip up and quite comfortable without any customizing. I made sure to keep the accessories simple so as not to overwhelm the detailing on the yoke.

I've talked about the cardigan before. It's definitely my favorite cardigan from ModCloth. I picked up a few more colors when they were on sale last week. I suspect you may be seeing at least one of them next week.

The shoes have been in my closet for over a year and this is the first time I wore them. Shocking, right? They are so much fun, but this is the first time I was confident in pairing them with an outfit. That's one of the problems with shoes that are so busy. They can be hard to find something to "match". I put "match" in quotation marks because as you can tell, they don't have to match perfectly to look good. Most of the colors in the shoes don't match the colors in the dress, but the dominant colors (navy and brown) do.

This outfit came together fairly easily. One thing I love about eShakti is that a lot of their dresses can be worn on their own with no additional styling and look great, or you can have fun with accessories and take the look in a different direction that is just as cute, if not cuter. eShakti is still doing their Buy 2 Get 1 Free or Buy 1 and get 25% off sale so you should check it out. They get new arrivals almost daily.
